0.8 x 60 = 48 (per min) 48 x 60 = 2880 (per hour) 2880 x 2 = 5760  I think the answer is 5760!

Answer:

90,000

Explanation:

Let's calculate how many seconds we have in two hours.

In one hour we have 60 minutes, so in 2 hours we have 2*60 = 120 minutes.

In one minute we have 60 seconds, so in 120 minutes we have 120*60 = 7,200 seconds.

Now we can use a direct rule of 3. If in 0.08 seconds 1 baby is born, how many babies will be born in 7,200 seconds?

\text{0.08 seconds} -\!\!\!-\!\!\!- \text{1 babies}\\ \text{7,200 seconds} -\!\!\!-\!\!\!- \text{x babies}

We use the formula of the direct rule of 3:

x = \frac {7,200 * 1}{0.08} \\ \\ x = \frac {7,200}{0.08}\\ \\

x = 90,000

90,000 babies are born in 2 hours.
