1. You must apply the formula for calculate the arc length, which is:

arc length=(angle)(radius)

2- As you can see, the circle has a radius of 5 yards and the angle subtended by the arc measures 1 1/2 radians. Therefore, you have:

The angle is:

1 1/2 radians=1.5 radians

3. When you susbtitute these values into the formula, you obtain:

arc length=(1.5 radians)(5 yards)
arc lenght=7.5 yards

4. Therefore, the answer is: 7.5 yards.
