Answer:

The United Farm Workers Strike, also known as a the Delano Grape Strike lasted from 1965 to 1970, where two worker unions merged to demand better working conditions and protest the exploitation of farm workers. Through non violent resistance, boycotting consumption of non union grapes, and other methods they achieved higher wages, better working conditions including in some cases unemployment insurance, paid vacation days, and the creation of a special benefits fund.

The United Farm Workers went on strike in the 1960’s. This strike, lead by individuals like Cesar a Chavez, was organized in hopes of farm workers receiving better pay, benefits, and working conditions. This strike went on for several years until the demands of these grape workers were met.
