2/3 miles in 1/12 of a hour
We need twelve 1/12 to make a whole hour
(2/3)•12 = 24/3= 8 miles
8 miles per hour

He can run 8 miles in one hour. If you add 2/3 12 times then you get 24/3. Then when you divide 24/3 you get 8. That is how I got my correct answer of 8 miles per hour.
