Item 19 A surveyor holds a laser range finder 3 feet above the ground and determines that the range finder is 112 feet from a building and 131 feet from the top of the building. What is the height h of the building? Round your answer to the nearest tenth. BTW HARDER QUESTION

The building is about 70.95 feet tall.

The building and the laser range will form a right triangle. You can use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the height of the building.

112^2 + b^2 = 131^2
b = 67.95

However, don't forget to add on 3 because that is the height of the laser range.
