What is the solution to the equation? 0.875 (x - 0.5) = -0.6125

I believe x=-1.2 because

dstribute \: 0.875 \: to \: x \: and \: 0.5 \: then \: subtract \: your \: answer \: to \: 0.875 * 0.5 \: from \: - 0.6125
when you get that answer divided 0.875x by that answer
