16= 0.25x + 11
subtract 11 from both sides you get 5=0.25
divide by 0.25 and you should get 20

y=0.25x+11 sub in 16 for y
16=0.25x+11 Subtract 11 from both sides
5=0.25x Divide by 0.25
20=x
The value of x when y=16 is a value of 20
Check your work
0.25*20+11=16
