Hello!

The equation for a line is y = mx + b

m is the slope
b is the y-intercept

The y-intercept is -3

y = mx - 3

To find the slope you count how many times up and over it goes from point to point

It goes up one over one

y = (1)/(1) x - 3

Simplify

The answer is y = x - 3

Hope this helps!
