it is C because 4 pi r^2 is the surface area equation. 4 times 6 squared= 144. 144pi = surface area.

As we cab see it is given clearly in the diagram that the diameter of the sphere in question is 12 units. Therefore, the radius of the sphere will be half of the diameter and thus, it will be:

radius, r=
(diameter)/(2)=(12)/(2)=6 units.

Now that we know the value of the radius, r, we can find the surface area of the sphere by applying the following formula:

Surface Area=
4\pi r^2

Therefore, Surface Area=
4\pi(6)^2=4* 36* \pi=144\pi unit squared

Thus, out of the given options, Option C is the correct answer.
