Which of the following is not a government requirement when starting a sole proprietorship? To give clients 90 days notice prior to shutting down operations. A sole proprietorship is when one person solely owns the business and there is no separation and they record all profits and losses through themselves. A sole proprietorship is also the simplest form of business a person own and operate.
