The area of the slice is given by:
A = k * pi * r ^ 2
Where,
r: Apple pie radius
k: relationship of arcs
We have then:
A = (60/360) * 3.14 * (12/2) ^ 2
A = 18.84 in ^ 2
Answer:
The area of that slice of pie is:
18.84 square inches
