We are given

x^2+4y^2=36

Since, this is equation of ellipse

so, firstly we will change it into standard equation of ellipse

((x-h)^2)/(a^2)+((y-k)^2)/(b^2)=1

now, we can change our equation into this form

x^2+4y^2=36

we divide both sides by 36

we get

(x^2)/(36)+ (4y^2)/(36) =1

now, we can simplify it

(x^2)/(6^2)+ (y^2)/(3^2) =1

now, we can compare and find 'a' and 'b'

a=6, b=3

Since, shorter value is b

so, length of minor axis is 2b

length of minor axis is 2*3

The length of minor axis is 6...........Answer
