because you have to multiply the exponents then do 8^2 2/3 and simplify. So what I did was multiply the 2/3 and 4 to get 2 and 2/3 then did eight to the 2 and 2/3 to get my answer of 256

The correct option is (A)
8^{ (8)/(3) }

Step-by-step explanation:
Given expression:

(8^{ (2)/(3) })^4

(8^{ (2*4)/(3) }) \\ 8^{ (8)/(3) }

Which is (Option A)

8^{ (8)/(3) } = 256 =
(8^{ (2)/(3) })^4 (Check)
