The novel called “Dragonwings” whose author is Laurence Yep is about an eight-year-old boy whose name is Moon Shadow. He decided to sailed from China to join his father, Windrider, in America. His perspective of his father changes after he fights Black Dog because at the beginning of the book, Moon Shadow never met his dad. He was curious then, so he went to the golden mountain to find his dad but he ended up to find him rather mean.
