If m and were parallel then

3x - 15 and 150 would be same- side interior angles and sum to 180° , so

3x - 15 + 150 = 180

3x + 135 = 180 ( subtract 135 from both sides )

3x = 45 ( divide both sides by 3 )

x = 15

then for m and m to be parallel , x = 15

150°+(3x-15)°=180°(Co-interior angles are supplementary)


150 + 3x - 15 = 180 \\ 3x + 150 - 15 = 180 \\ 3x + 135 = 180 \\ 3x = 180 - 135 \\ 3x = 45 \\ (3x)/(3) = (45)/(3) \\ x = 15

x=15°
