I would think the answer would be that each of the legs are 4 because A to B is 4, A to C is 4, and C to B is 4.

Answer:
x = 2√2 units

Step-by-step explanation:
We are given a right-angled triangle in which:
side1 = side2 = x
hypotenuse = 4

Now, we can use the Pythagorean theorem to get the length of each of the two legs as follows:
(hypotenuse)² = (side1)² + (side2)²
(4)² = (x)² + (x)²
16 = 2x²
x² = 16/2
x² = 8
either x = -√8 = -2√2 units .........> rejected as length cannot be negative
or x = +√8 = 2√2 units .........> accepted value

Based on the above:
x = 2√2 units

Hope this helps :)
