Hi there!

In this expression, there are only two like terms. These are 5x^3 and 7x^3. The two terms are similar because they have the same exponent. A general rule to determine like terms is "Can you add them together?" If you can, they are like terms. If not, then they are not like terms.

Hope this helps!! :)
If there's anything else that I can help you with, please let me know!

Like terms are those which have same variables and the exponent of those variables must also be the same. These are the terms which can be added or subtracted.

If you consider the above expression, only two such terms are listed who have the same variables which are raised to the same power.

So the answer to this question is:

5 x^(3) \\ 7 x^(3)
