The y-intercept is where the line crosses the y-axis

In this case the line crosses y-axis at (0,3)

A - 3,0

The Y intercept is where the graph crosses through the vertical line or the Y. On the graph, if you count upward from each square, you’ll eventually hit 3 which is the y intercept.
