We are given

both triangles are similar

Let's assume side of bigger triangle is 'a'

side of smaller triangle is 'b'

so, a=54cm

b=18cm

now, we can find ratios

(a)/(b)= (54)/(18)

(a)/(b)= 3

The area of the larger triangle is 603 cm²

so,

A_l=603

area of smaller triangle is As

we are given

both triangles are similar

so, we get

(A_l)/(A_s) =((a)/(b)) ^2

now, we can plug values

and we get

(603)/(A_s) =(3) ^2

A_s=(603)/(3^2)

A_s=67cm^2

so,

the area of smaller triangle is
67cm^2..........Answer
