I believe the answer is D. they increase the activity of brain regions responsible for planned behavior.

stimulants produce more activity in parts of the brain such as the basal ganglia, frontal lobe, and thoughtful thought. This increase the likelihood for a person focusing all of his/her brain activity to one single goals and become more productive throughout the day,
