The answer is symbolic or laissez-faire racism. In addition, reliably avoiding contact with people of dissimilar races than one's own would be measured an example of aversive racism. The contact theory argues that collaboration among whites and minorities will reduce prejudice on part of both groups if all of the subsequent conditions are encountered, excluding all parties agree to work to decrease the prejudice.
