The area of the polygon will be given by:
A=n(1/2*base*height)
where:
n=number of sides
thus
h=8
thus the base will be:
tan x=[opposite]/[adjacent]
tan 60=8/b
b=4.62
base=9.24
thus the area of the polygon will be:
A=6[1/2×9.24×8]
A=221.76 sq. units
