An ant crawls around the perimeter of a circle whose radius is 2 feet through a central angle of 72 degrees. What distance, to the nearest inch, has the ant crawled?

we know that

[the circumference of a circle]=2*pi*r
r=2 ft

[the circumference of a circle]=2*pi*2------> 12.56 ft

if 360° (full circle) has a length of-----------> 12.56 ft
72°---------------------------------> X
x=72*12.56/360-------< x=2.512 ft

1 ft----------> 12 in
2.512 ft-----> x
x=2.512*12------> x=30.14 in-----> x=30 in

the answer is
30 in
