A car with a mass of 600 kg is traveling at a velocity of 10 m/s. How much kinetic energy does it have?

Kinetic energy (KE) = 1/2 *mass*sqr. speed => KE =1/2*m*v^2

Given, m= 600 kg, v= 10 m/s

Therefore,
KE = 1/2*600*10^2 = 30,000 J = 30 kJ
