For this problem, the parent function would be: y = 6ˣ or 6 to the x power.. my editor didn't do to well.. sorry. Now for the transformations:

y = 2( 6)^((x+2)) - 5

The first "2" would cause a vertical stretch of the function by a factor of 2
The '2' in (x + 2) will cause a horizontal shift of 2 to the left
Finally, the '5' at the end will cause a vertical shift of '5' down

Hope this helps. :-)
