Okay, let's assign values.
p = pencil
c = paper clips
e = erasers
5c + p = 2e
p = 29c
So, let's use the second sentence and apply it to the first one:
5c + 29c = 2e
34c = 2e
e = 17c
So 17 clips weighs the same as one eraser
