I will answer the best to my knowledge! Social structure refers to the pattern of social relationships in a society. Such structures regulate interactions among members of society providing guidelines. Social structure maintains social stability, however, when Social structure & social values become incompatible the structure must make social change to allow the society to survive and continue healthy. So society can exist without structure of power but also cannot.
