Find the indicated limit, if it exists. limit of f of x as x approaches 0 where f of x equals 9 minus x squared when x is less than 0, 9 when x equals 0, and negative 4 x plus 9 when x is greater than 0

The limit does not exist.

Answer:

limit x---> 0 is 9

Explanation:

we need to find limit when x--->0

First we find left hand side limit

for finding left hand side limit we use function x<0

f(x)= 9-x^2

we plug in 0 for x

f(x) = 9-0 =9 (Left hand side limit)

for finding right hand side limit we use function x>0

f(x)= -4x+9

we plug in 0 for x

f(x) =9 (Right hand side limit)

Left hand side limit = right hand side limit when x aprroaches 0

So limit x---> 0 is 9
