Answer:
People that are homeless may have an illness, But at the same time, others may not. I've done a project about this, and my conclusion was very shocking at the end. Homelessness is a problem that can affect a person slowly, or out of the blue. In most cases, the homeless turn to dr*gs to heal the pain. Many companies are offering jobs at every corner, but some refuse the offer, and would rather stay and get free money, while others will accept the job, but have to deal with the painful commute. A new law was put in place (in the state I live in) where you cannot give the homeless any money whatsoever, and if you are caught doing so, you will be given consequences. This is because of the amount of dr*g and M*** usage. Some *Not all* will use the money to purchase more instead of using it for saving. Another reason this law was passed, is because of the ignorance by citizens. "Librocubicularist" or faking homelessness, is a cold-hearted way to make money. Some people take advantage of others by pretending to be homeless while making thousands. This has caused the loss of trust of the homeless. While America is currently working on this problem, we have a ways to go. But other countries have the same problem. This is highly unfortunate, but sadly... it is reality. Every day there are millions possibly billions suffering from a mental illness *while homeless* and some are just homeless. But as things keep getting even more expensive, things only get harder for the people that are unfortunate.
These are all of my studies
This probably wasn't what you were asking for lol, but anyway I hope this helps^^
