let the original price of camera be x.x*42÷100=126.x*42=12600.x=12600÷42=300.thus 300 is the answer

Discount = 42%
Discount = $126
42% = 126
Find 1%:
1% = 126 ÷ 42 = $3
Find 100% (Original Price):
100% = $3 x 100 = $300
Answer: The original price of the camera is $300.
