HELPPP I NEED HELP

1) Identify and explain ways families can have a positive influence on teen's decisions about alcohol use.

2) What are 2 effective refusal strategies for avoiding the use of alcohol.

3) What are the depressant effect of alcohol? How might alcohol affect your ability to make healthful decisions?

4) Why would refusing alcohol help you avoid unsafe situations such as sexual assault and violence? In what ways will you also be avoiding the risk of exposure to STDs?

1. Letting them know they matter. Talking to them whenever they feel comfortable and let them know that you care, this will make the teen less “addicted” to alcohol.

4. When you are under the influence, you are not aware of anything, especially your surroundings. You can be used by other people since you do not “feel” anything. You also don’t know who you are taking/doing sexual activity with.
