Lateral area of a pyramid: 1/2(perimeter · height)

Find the perimeter of the base ⇒ 24 + 24 + 24 + 24 = 96 cm

It shows that the slant height is ⇒ 16 cm

Plug these numbers into the LA formula of a pyramid.

1/2(96 · 16) = 768 cm²

The lateral area is 768 square centimeters.
