52 + 12
which =
64
. Then I divided my answer by
8
. Which left me with the answer
8
.

Make the number = x.
If you multiply x by 8 then subtract 12, you get 52.
Make it into an equation.
8x - 12 = 52
Now solve for x.
8x = 64
x = 8
The number is 8.
