If it's 3ft on each side, the glass is a square.

The area for square is;

A=s²

where

A=(3)²

so the area is 9ft

Hello there!

Oscar is cutting a piece of glass that is 3 feet long on each side. What is the area of the glass?

Answer: 9ft^2
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Explanation/Work:

The glass is 3 feet long on each side

The formula for area is:

a = l * h

The length is 3

The height is 3

a = 3 * 3

3 * 3 = 9

a = 9

The area is 9 ft^2

I hope I helped!

Let me know if you need anything else!
