The Arno family is planning a 14 day April vacation. The location they've chosen has an average of 10 rainy days every April. The Arnos would like at least 7 days without rain. Should they keep their current plan?

Yes. Well it has a average of 10 rainy days out of the whole month of April. That is  a 33% chance. They should get what they want of 7 days no rain. if they are unlucky then oh well. But they should be fine. Hope I'm right and this helps you! Have a great day!

there are 30 days in April
10 are rainy

do a ratio to determine the number of rainy days during the vacation:

10/30 = x/14
cross multiply:
140 = 30x

x = 140 /30 = 4.7 days round up to 5 days during the vacation could rain

14 total days - 5 rainy days = 9 days without rain, so they should keep their plans
