First you have to figure out the total.
42+35+23= 100
So plug it in.
23/100
23%
Your answer is 23%.
Hope this helped ^-^

Answer:

23%

Explanation:

Givens:

  • 42 black tiles.
  • 35 blue tiles.
  • 23 red tiles.

The percentage of the number of red tiles is obtained by dividing all red tiles with the total number of tiles, that is

(23)/(42+35+23)=(23)/(100)= 0.23 \ (or \ 23\%)

Therefore, all red tiles in the mural represent a 23% of all tiles.
