Hello!

The equation for a circle is

(x - a)^2 + (y - b)^2 = r^2

(a,b) is the center of the circle

The equation is going to be

(x + 2)^2 + (y - 10)^2

We have to find the radius

To find this we use the equation

r = √((xsub2 - xsub1)^2 + (ysub2 - ysub1)^2)

The sub1's are the center points
The sub2's are a point of a circle

Put in the points

r = √((-2 + 2)^2 + (10 - 6)^2)

r = √(16)

This shows that the answer is A)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The equation of a circle is (x - a)^2 + (y - b)^2

This means that the equation will be

(x - 1)^2 + (y - 2)^2 = r^2

Now we find the radius

r= √((0-1)^2 + (6-2)^2)

This gives us

r = √(17)

This means the answer is C

Hope this helps!

r^2=(x−h)^2+(y−k)^2

(-2, 6) and (-2, 10)

r^2 = (10 - 6)^2 + (-2+2)^2
r^2 = 4^2
r^2 = 16

answer is A.
(x +2)^2 + (y - 6)^2 = 16
--------------------

r^2=(x−h)^2+(y−k)^2

(1,2) and (0,6)

r^2 = (6-2)^2 + (0-1)^2
r^2 = 4^2 + 1^2
r^2 = 17

answer is C.
(x - 1)^2 + (y - 2)^2 = 17
