This is the commutative property (of addition, but this applies to multiplication as well)It doesn't matter which order the numbers are added in, the same result will be achieved.1+2 = 2+12*4 = 4*2

Answer: Commutative property of addition

Explanation:

  • The commutative property of addition says that any two numbers can be added in either order.

It does not matter that which number should be written first or second, i.e if you change the order of addends, the result remains the same.

a+b=b+a for any a and b arbitrary real numbers.

The given equation : π + 10 = 10 + π

Here the expressions on each side are same , just the order gets changed.

So the the property of real numbers illustrated by the equation is commutative property of addition .
