A tank in the shape of a rectangular prism measures 10 decimeters by 4 decimeters by 6 decimeters. The tank is completely filled with 8908.8 liters of liquid.

What is the density of the liquid?

Given dimensions of rectangular prism : 10dm * 4dm* 6dm

The tank is completely filled with 8908.8 gm

Volume of the tank = length * width * height

=>
v= 10*4*6 = 240 dm^3

We know, 1 cubic decimeter = 1 litre

240 dm^3= 240 litre

It is obvious that, 8908.8 litres would not fit in a 240 l tank, so assuming 8908.8 gm.

We know,
density =(mass)/(volume)

Density =
(8908.8)/(240)= 37.12 gm/l ... Answer
