Write a function rule for the area of a rectangle whose length is 5 ft more than its width. What is the area of the rectangle when its width is 9 ​ft?

the formula for the area of a rectangle is
length × width.
the length =width + 5
W + 5
width(W) =9

let the area = A
therefore the function is,
(W + 5) + 9 =area
