We should first divide the miles Mike drove with the numbers of mile per gallon to find out how many gallons of gas he needs
10850/16 equals to 678.125
Mike needs 678 gallons of gas
678.125 multiplied by the cost of one gallon of gas
678 ×210 equals to 142406.25
Mike gasoline cost for the trip was $142406.25

P.S Oh my gosh that is a huge amount of money to use and buy gas, like seriously

Always be careful of decimal placement.

First, you take 10,850 and divide it by 16.

Your answer should be 678.125

Your next step is to MULTIPLY 678.125 by 2.10 (two-dollars and ten cents not TWO-HUNDRED AND TEN)

The correct answer should be 1,424.0625 or 1,424.06
