If a person's body has fewer T cells than it normally should, then it could probably mean that he has a problem with his lymph nodes or immune system or is probably old. It could also mean that he has a viral infection like "flu," "HIV," or "AIDS." He could have also been exposed to high doses of radiation that killed his T cells. It could also be a result of "blood cancer."

People with fewer T-cell count are more susceptible to infection than people with normal T-cell count. They are also prone to excessive bleeding, fainting and hematoma.
