multiply the total number of pies by 3/5 to find out how many pies were sold.
3/5 ×
25(pies)/1
=
3 × 25/5 × 1
=
75/5
=
75 ÷ 55 ÷ 5
=
15 (pies sold)
25 pies - 15 pies sold = 10 pies leftover.
