I NEED THIS IMMEDIATELY!!

While at the zoo, Mohammad counted the number of sloths and meerkats he saw. After a few minutes, he counted 2 sloths and 6 meerkats. The ratio remained constant during the remainder of his dive. Use the ratio to complete the table below.

Write an equation to model this relationship, where S represents the number of sloths and M represents the number of meerkats.

Answer:

sloths 2:6 meerkats

simplified

sloths 1:3 meerkats

1 s = 3 m

2 s = 6 m

42/3 = 14

14 s = 42 m

16 X 3 = 48

16 s = 48 m

72/3 = 24

24 s = 72 m

m = s X 3

s= m/3
