How much greater is the volume of a 6 inch cube than a 3 inch cube?

The 6 inch cube is 189 cubed inches bigger. Its volume is 216 cubed inches while the volume of the three inch cube would be 27 cubed inches.

6 inch cube = 6 x 6 x 6 = 216 in³

3 inch cube = 3 x 3 x 3 = 27 in³

216 ÷ 27 = 8

Answer: The volume of the 6-inch cube is 8 times greater the volume of the 3-inch cube.
