Answer:

Maybe you should have put the options so that the other person won’t get confused……AnYwAy here is your answer:

You get the mean when you add all of these numbers and divide by the number of numbers. So, 3 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 5 + 9 = 29; 29 / 6 = 4.83In order to calculate median, you need to sort these numbers according to their value (3, 3, 4, 5 , 5, 9) and find the number in the middle - here, there are two numbers, 4 and 5, which means that the median is 4.5.

*The mean is A. greater than the median.*

Hi there!

Mean:

To find the mean, we need to find the sum of all of the numbers in the set and divide it by the amount of numbers.
In this case, the numbers are 3, 3, 4, 5, 5 and 9, and there are 6 numbers.

3 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 5 + 9
= 29

29 / 6
= 4 5/6

Median:

To find the median, we need to arrange the numbers in order (in this case, they are already arranged for us) and find the middle number. If there are an even amount of numbers, we would find the average of the middle two numbers.
In this case, the middle two numbers are 4 and 5. The mean of 4 and 5 is 4.5.

4.5

Hope this helps!
