Formula to find total students

= n(A) + n(B) - n(A intersection B)

Probability of any event is

= Number of favorable outcomes / Total number of outcomes.

Here students enrolled for Spanish are 261 = n(A)

Students enrolled for French are 153 = n(B)

Students enrolled for both the languages are 25 = n(A intersection B)

Total number of students enrolled are = 261 + 153 - 25 = 389

The probability for a student enrolled for both languages

=
(25)/(389)

Option B) is the right answer
