Some of the nursing actions include the nurse should closely monitor the patient's vital signs if possible every 15 minutes. Since as stated the oxygen saturation is 92% which is below the normal rate which should be 95% leading to faster respiratory rate of 80 which should only have 40-60 respiratory rate. Second, administer oxygen on the rate prescribed by the doctor to help the newborn breathe.Third, watch out for other signs and symptoms that may worsen the case and lastly administer medicines as prescribed.
