so the answer to this is going to be
-9 = 9p
and then we divide both sides by 9. and u get drum roll plz
p = -1

-6p - 21 = 3p - 12
Add 6p to both sides.
-21 = 9p - 12
Add 12 to both sides.
-9 = 9p
Divide both sides by 9.
p = -1
