One pound is equal to 16 ounces.
7 pounds are equal to 112 ounces, plus 12 more ounces, and you get 124 ounces.
Therefore, 7 lbs 12 oz, is equal to 124 oz.

There are 16 ounces (oz) in 1 pound (lb).
Multiply 7 lbs by 16 oz = 112 oz
Now add 12 oz to 112 oz = 124 oz
7 lbs and 12 oz is equal to 124 oz.
